Ramsay and Chalmers is based in Aberdeen and provides Consulting Structural and Civil Engineering services for clients within the United Kingdom and overseas.

 

The practice has been established since 1978 and during the intervening period, it has acquired sound experience in attracting and successfully completing significant commissions for substantial clients.

 

The staff compliment consists of permanent teams led by Chartered Engineers supported by Graduates or Technician Engineers and Technicians housed in our own purpose built energy efficient offices in Chattan Place, Aberdeen.

 

Since 1982, continuous investment has been made in computer equipment and software.  At present, 12 fully operational CAD stations are backed up by maintained design software.  The associated surveying company is also computerised.  The various systems are networked and fully compatible with other professional offices within the industry.

 

In addition to Consulting Structural and Civil Engineering services the Practice also offers a computer based topographical surveying service through its associated company, GCS Ltd.

 

The practice is Construction Line registered.

 

One Partner and one Associate are qualified and practicing planning supervisors.

 

The practice has a documented quality system which is being implemented with a view to certification in due course.
